22-year old Melinda Bam won the Miss South Africa 2011 title and crown. She came from Pretoria, South Africa. She was crowned by Miss South Africa 2010, Bokang Montjane who was Miss Earth 2007 Top 16 semifinalist and Miss World 2011 Top 7 finisher.
She will represent South Africa at Miss Universe and Miss World 2012. 1st Runner Up is Ramona Moodley while 2nd Runner Up is Thuli Sangweni. Completing the Top 5 are Rolene Strauss and Sian Schlebusch,
