Just as what Paraguay has done (we are not saying that Peru is copying). The Miss Peru Organization finally chooses Nicole Faveron, Miss Peru 2011 Runner Up who represented the province Loreta to represent Peru at the 61st edition of Miss Universe this 2012.
Nicole, who is Peruvian model, vies to map Peru at the Miss Universe map by placing in the semifinals. The venue for Miss Universe 2012 is currently unknown.
This Organization do this to have more time for their representatives to prepare one year ahead as what several countries do (like Venezuela, Mexico, Malaysia and Puerto Rico). This is also the reason of the Miss Paraguay Org as they send former Miss World Paraguay 2010 - Egni Eckert.
