Gabriela Vassileva replaced the original winner of Miss Bulgaria 2012, Ina Mancheva, after officials found out there was a mix up with the internet public votes and the judges votes. Ina originally won the most popular internet votes, not the judges votes. Gabriela was the 1st-runner up at the national pageant. She 20 years old stands 1.80 m. and will represent Bulgaria in Miss World 2012.
However, one of the runners up will represent Bulgaria at Miss Universe 2012.
